DEBORAH CHEETHAM AO
Deborah Cheetham, Yorta Yorta woman, soprano, composer and Artistic Director of Short Black Opera, has been a leader and pioneer in the Australian arts landscape for more than 25 years. In the 2014 Queenâs Birthday Honours List, Cheetham was appointed as an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO). Join Deborah as she sits down with Head of the Conservatorium, Alan Lourens, to talk about the upcoming performance of her monumental work 'Eumeralla - a war requiem for peace' - giving audience members a unique insight into this special work ahead of its performance by WASO on 29 September.
